Sometimes I see people drinking warm green smoothies that are pithy and grainy-looking and I can't imagine how they can stomach it with that texture. This recipe, if made in a blender, will have a similar texture, but it's so delicious and spicy, the texture doesn't seem to make a difference. If you make it in a juicer, it'll be just juice and is a lovely compliment to a lunch of mixed greens and a bowl of soup. It's also a wonderful digestive aid and is perfect for drinking in winter, when colds and flus are going around. |
